The way we were turned away left a sour taste. We weren’t even allowed in to talk to reception; a security guard dealt with us at the door. I’d tried to book a night, but he looked at me and then at my car with British plates, smirked, said the hotel was full with a sarcastic, badly accented “sorry,” and sent us away, even though the website showed rooms available. I don’t know who they think they are. It’s a two-star hotel in the middle of nowhere. Foreign travelers should stay away.

The breakfast was incredible, with lots of tasty options. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Italy, Paris and Latvia, including four-star places, and this beat them all. The hotel is clean and pleasant, and there’s good parking and an outdoor playground for kids. I don’t understand why it has only two stars. Definitely recommend it!

We checked in easily at midnight, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was great, the staff friendly, and the parking felt safe behind a gate. This place is underrated and deserves at least three stars.

The hotel sits right by the river, and for the price it’s absolutely worth staying here. Parking is fenced in and lit by floodlights, while breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, though the beds could’ve been more comfortable, the springs felt quite rough.

We planned to stay for four nights, but ended up spending eight. The rooms are huge and cleaned daily, breakfast is generous and good quality, and the reception staff are fantastic. It’s very good value for money. The only disappointment was the coffee at breakfast. Can’t have everything, I suppose. I’ll be back for sure.
