The dinner is better than breakfast, and prices are normal. The dock is 100 m from the hotel, so you can get on a boat for a trip along Augustow canal. Kaktusik is also nearby, about 300-400 m away, and often has live music in the evenings. The staff are polite, and most of them understand English.

The desk is staffed 24/7, which is a plus. WiFi is hit or miss, though, and only works well in some parts of the area. It was 3 degrees outside and I couldn't get the room warm.

We have a house nearby, so I can't comment on the hotel. We do eat at the restaurant instead of cooking 😊, since the food is good quality and cheap.
