Dworek Eureka

We were charged twice for our stay. After I contacted the hotel, they ignored my messages for several days, with no acknowledgment or reply. I eventually had to contact my credit card provider, which blocked the duplicate charge. The room was reasonably clean and the property seemed fine at first, but basic service was a problem. We had booked and paid for a double room for two, yet there was only one pillow. Reception resisted when I asked for another, saying they might be out and that finding one and putting on a pillowcase would be “a lot of hassle.” That set the tone. Later I found just one very short blanket, laid sideways across the bed. It was barely a meter long and clearly for one person. I was already in my nightgown and ready for bed, so I didn’t go back to ask for another, but I shouldn’t have been put in that position. They also hadn’t told us that weddings are held at the hotel, which can mean noise. We stayed on a Sunday, when the party was mostly over, and the noise wasn’t too bad by evening, but guests should be told in advance. The building and room were acceptable, but the poor communication, lack of basic hospitality, and mishandled billing made this a very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

You feel like a prince in your own castle here. 🤪🙃 The staff are lovely, friendly, and very polite. Breakfast is the usual kind, just served in a luxurious way. 🥣🍳🍱🍽

We’d definitely come back. The rooms and hotel were nice, tidy, and very clean, and the evening meals were genuinely top quality. The staff were helpful too.

Lovely hotel, and the staff were lovely too. I do think the rooms should have a kettle with tea and coffee, though. We missed having one when we got up xxxx
