The owner was kind and helpful, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It's in a quiet neighborhood, with free parking inside the property. The spacious kitchen is well equipped and accessible. Rooms are great too, with everything a tourist needs, including air conditioning, which isn't standard everywhere. I recommend it to anyone interested.

The staff were friendly, and the gentleman was genuinely helpful. He even told me, quite honestly, that if I didn't like this place, another facility 800 meters away had bathrooms in the rooms. They had no availability that night, but you could move there the following night for a little more, with breakfast included and a bathroom in the room. I can't say the place is terrible, but 300 PLN for a night with no breakfast and no card payment is hopelessly out of line with the very basic standard for undemanding guests. In most cities, that price gets you a much better room, an en suite bathroom, breakfast, and fragrant coffee in the morning. Something here really throws common sense off. The walls are thin plasterboard, so you can practically feel the person next door snoring, and hear other sleepless guests regularly heading down the hall. And the toilet is in a closet. I've only seen that in DIY stores. The closet, or toilet space, is 40 cm wide, or maybe deep, so some bodily functions need a bit of acrobatics and an angled position. If you're not a Pygmy, it may not feel like a full-size toilet. With a little more tinkering, someone could even put a rain shower head on the closet ceiling above it, so you could shower while sitting there. I was reading the positive reviews and felt like I'd landed in another reality. I used to think you couldn't find rooms without bathrooms in Poland anymore unless you were in a homeless shelter or the barracks of the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. Seems I was wrong.

The neighborhood is quiet, and there’s a grocery store nearby. You can rent a bike on site for pennies. My room had a balcony, which made it easy to relax in the evenings, and the bed was super comfortable. There was also air conditioning and a small fridge. The owner was fantastic. I turned up almost at night in unusual circumstances, without a reservation, and got a room without trouble, a deposit, or paperwork. We took care of everything the next day after breakfast. I highly recommend it.
