Cleanliness was perfect and the Wi-Fi was good. The room and location were okay, but the whole stay was disappointing. There was no heating in the cold weather and nowhere to dry clothes. Breakfast was supposed to start at 9:00; we arrived at 9:15 and found no food. We waited for more to come out, but nothing did, so we stayed hungry. For a similar price, there are many better hostels around the area.

The meals deserve a lot of credit: fresh, healthy, varied, and delicious, with something for everyone. You can tell care went into making them. The staff and host were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and made the place feel like a family home. The mountain views are breathtaking, and the location makes it easy to get around while enjoying the mountain atmosphere. There’s also excellent parking. It’s a lovely place for a mountain getaway in Biały Dunajec. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be back ❤️

Getting to Zakopane was easy: Bańska Niżna train station is close by, and the host showed us a new path that makes the walk shorter than Google Maps suggests. We also appreciated the free parking on the property and not being charged for our Shih Tzu. Everything felt exceptionally clean, even the guest kitchenette. The rooms and bathrooms were cozy and warm, and had everything we needed. There are benches and shoe racks by the entrance, so you leave dirty shoes downstairs before heading up the clean stairs. Breakfast was delicious and varied; the hostess spoiled us with crumpets, pancakes, casseroles, and cakes. I’m a picky eater, but I happily ate everything. Dinner was a surprise too: when we came back from walks, the hostess cooked it fresh, never reheated. Everything was warm and delicious. A wonderful guesthouse with lovely hosts ❤️ We’ve stayed at all kinds of guesthouses and hotels, and this was the cleanest. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
