For ten years we've kept coming back, and the standards have stayed high every time. This is the best spa experience we've had, better than any spa or massage therapist we've tried in Europe or Australia.

We had an excellent meal in a lovely historic building, with a warm, welcoming feel that suited a relaxed evening. The food looked as good as it tasted. The Lithuanian broth was wonderfully rich and comforting, and the dumplings were among the best I've ever eaten. Finding out they make them in-house made them even more special. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu well. Her suggestions were spot-on, and we appreciated her advice. It seems like a great choice for a small dinner or a larger group. I'd happily come back.

Breakfast really stands out here. The buffet selection was better than what I've seen in most hotels, and I even spotted some traditional Polish cuisine. The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable, and the price is good. Although it's near the motorway, we didn't hear any traffic, so it's a great stop for people traveling between the Baltic countries and Central Europe.

The bathroom was very nice, the towels were good, parking was plentiful and free, and the staff were pleasant. We also had one of the most delicious breakfasts we've tried, with every dish we sampled tasting good. It seems suited to business trips and overnight stays, but also more like a venue for celebrations. Tidiness could be better. The carpets in the room and hallways need more cleaning, and breakfast tables still had stained tablecloths, crumbs, and bread left on them after guests had gone. Dishes weren't replenished during the last half hour, although staff did make more pancakes when we asked. For the price, it's a good deal, and that breakfast will bring us back when we're nearby, even though cleanliness isn't a strong point.
