Hotel Gołębiewski w Białymstoku

The staff gave excellent service. I left a couple of things in my room, and they sent them to me internationally, promptly and politely. The hotel is well appointed and centrally located, and kids will surely enjoy the aquapark. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are very kind, but the lack of hot water was a serious problem. For several hours we kept telling staff that the shower water was completely cold. Reception said they were dealing with it, but nothing was fixed. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone in our group gets sick because of this. In a country this cold, hot water in the shower matters more than meals, service, or anything else. Going hours without it affected the whole stay. It’s a real disadvantage when the hotel couldn’t sort it out.

I’d stayed here a few times before, but sadly this was my last visit. The place needs major renovation and repairs. The pool and spa area are really old and not even nice to look at. The rooms have old air conditioning that doesn’t work, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t good. I’d been looking forward to breakfast, but it barely got 3/10. When I told the front desk, she didn’t seem to care at all. It was basically, “You’ve checked out, so bye!” Big shame.

The elevator wasn’t working, so I had to take the stairs. Some old lady sprayed me with “air improver” while I was going downstairs. The water park is the hotel’s best feature, and it’s better than those at other hotels in this town.
