The one bright spot was the warm, friendly service. The room itself was small and uncomfortable, with spiders inside. I had to open the window because of a mouldy smell, and the bathroom smelled of both damp and sewage. The bed wasn’t comfortable, either. The old, poor-quality duvet and mattress covers were made of that cheap, slippery fake material that made me sweat. The pillows were worn out and no good for sleeping.

Good prices, very good food and breakfast, and a nice terrace for a meal or coffee in summer. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the location was great, close to both the Bochnia saltmine and the city.

There’s a beautiful view across the city and the surrounding nature. The location is lovely, near the highway, salt mine, and nice city centre. The food was good and the prices excellent.
