A peaceful, lovely place ♡

Bristol's spa and pools are lovely, quiet, beautiful, and well looked after. We enjoyed them a lot. The aparthotel is a separate section of the Bristol Hotel, about 100 meters away, and feels like its own cottage. You can use the main hotel's spa and pools too. Pets are allowed for 80 zlotys a day. We stayed in a 45-square-meter studio, though rooms also come in 27 and 50 square meters. Ours had a separate kitchen, a large bathroom, and a living area with a kitchenette. There were dishes, a stove, and a small fridge with a mini-freezer, but no salt or other basics, so bring your own. Biedronka is five minutes away on foot. The location is handy, close to both the old and new parks and the salt tower. It's worth knowing this works more like a daily apartment rental than a hotel room: cleaning isn't provided, or costs extra, towels aren't replaced, and rubbish isn't collected. The building was being renovated when we arrived, which meant unpleasant smells and an uncomfortable walk through it. We weren't told about that when booking. The apartment also seemed a bit worn. The shower leaked, the TV kept showing error messages, and the door handle felt loose. There's no air conditioning either, which could be a serious downside in hot weather. Service from the staff was friendly throughout, and thanks especially to Tatyana at reception for helping us. It would be great if they could provide at least a fan, and let guests buy just a morning coffee without breakfast. We missed that. Still, we plan to return.
