Apartamenty Stary Port

The location is a big plus: it’s very close to the city center, and the price is affordable. Parking is easy to find right next to the hotel, and it’s free on weekends. This review is only about the attic room. Getting there meant climbing three flights of stairs every day. The room has just small vents in the roof, so there’s basically no view. It was also poorly soundproofed. That goes for the other floors too: during breakfast, I could hear my downstairs neighbor dealing with the aftermath of last night’s kebab. The attic setup was a mistake for me. Anyone 175 cm or taller will have trouble moving around freely, and the only places to fully stretch out are by the bed and in the bathroom. There were small yellow stains in several places on the duvet and pillow, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was okay, with basic amenities including a hairdryer. The room had a wardrobe and a TV with USB ports. The kitchen is shared with the next room, so things should be fine as long as we don’t run into a lunatic.

I keep coming back here when I’m in Bydgoszcz, and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else unless every room is booked. The rooms are spacious, with two beds, a TV, a bathroom, and a kitchenette. The top-floor rooms are the best, with a bedroom and a separate living room. The staff are very friendly, too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a room in Bydgoszcz.

The woman who welcomed me was lovely, helpful, and friendly. The studio apartment was nice, and I liked it. Everything worth visiting seems to be close, literally about five minutes away. I think I’ll come back.
