The restaurant looks lovely, but the service was atrocious. We’d been there several times before and live nearby, but we won’t be going back. They couldn’t find our reservation, then just told us to sit wherever, with no interest in helping. After waiting 50 minutes for our food, we asked what was going on and got a shrug. Meanwhile, people who had arrived later were already being served. We paid for the soup and beer we’d had at the desk and left. The staff didn’t seem bothered.

We booked this as our wedding venue in 2019, then the pandemic hit in 2020. We never got our deposit back, even though the venue had received government money and, as we understood it, the law required them to return it. They even asked us to pay extra to move our date. We haven’t seen a penny.

The food was delicious, and the staff were really attentive. We were here for a wedding and had an amazing time.

A beautiful, peaceful place. I’d only change one thing: I’d prefer à la carte dishes.

The host was friendly, and it’s a wonderful resort.
