We had a really fun hour of bowling, too. The person running the alley was so nice and mixed us outstanding cocktails. At Karczma, the food was excellent, especially the deer tartare and chlodnik, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The traditional dishes made with local ingredients were a highlight. We booked the "Relax in Spa" package as a couple and found it very relaxing. The treatments included in the package were wonderful, and we'd definitely recommend the scrubbing massage. The pool, jacuzzi, and saunas were fairly quiet when we went, and the salt grotto was a peaceful place to unwind. There were lots of families with children, but the resort was spacious and so well organized that we hardly noticed them. There were so many things to do that it was easy to get happily lost among the attractions. Breakfast was another standout, with a wide choice of homemade food. They even made waffles and eggs to order, which was a lovely surprise at a three-star place. We left Osada Karbówko with lots of great memories and would love to come back. Fantastic stay.

The pool and sauna area was especially relaxing in the evening, once the children had gone. Breakfast was incredible, both the quality and the choice. The waiters were super nice, though the food at Karczma was okay rather than amazing. One thing really didn’t fit the character of this fairy tale like place: a big dog was kept in a small, poorly maintained cage. Could you please explain why?

The service was great, as usual, but I was a little disappointed with the food. The menu was smaller than usual, there was no chef special or amuse-bouche, and the dishes were average at best. Maybe they changed the chef, or maybe it was due to restrictions or cutbacks. Nothing here is going viral. I’ll have to find somewhere else to dine on Sunday.

There’s plenty to see and do, and the restaurant is good. The place has modern facilities and is very nice to visit. A large group had taken over the bowling and pool table. They were drinking, being rowdy, and swearing a lot, so it wasn’t an area where children could go. Also, the Union Flag of the UK was flying upside-down. Please fly it the right way!

There are loads of leisure options here, from the spa, bowling, pool, gym, and restaurants to canoeing, horse riding, the zoo, bar-b-que, hiking, cycling, horse cart rides, and paintball. It’s a great spot for a holiday or for group events like weddings and picnics. The restaurants are excellent and serve innovative dishes. It’s a three-star resort type property. Apart from the rooms and furnishings, I’d say the property is better than a five-star resort.
