The children had plenty to enjoy here, and the location and facilities were lovely. Our self-catering setup was a little basic, but the real trouble came at checkout. Booking said payment would be taken before arrival, yet this place only accepted cash, with no credit or debit cards. Nobody mentioned that when we checked in. The night before we left, we were asked why we hadn't paid, so at 10 pm we drove around with three bank cards trying to withdraw hundreds of pounds. A heads-up on arrival, or a proper check-in with an invoice, would have made this manageable. It was an unfortunate finish to an otherwise lovely stay.

A peaceful base for time around the Zakopane and Tatry mountains. It’s wonderfully quiet, and the ski lift is only about five minutes away. The mountain views are great too.
