We were in the Lavender Room for a week in November 2009. It was affordable, close to the city center, and the whole cottage was kept clean. The owners communicated really well, and a friendly woman came daily to clean the bathroom shared by the three upstairs rooms. That shared bathroom could mean a wait for the shower or toilet when all the rooms were occupied. The Lavender Room bed also squeaked terribly. There weren't any nearby shops open late or on weekends, and the shared kitchen was very basic, just a fridge, plates on a shelf, and a counter for meal prep. Good value for money, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay in Gdańsk. Anyone after special amenities should look elsewhere.
