Palac Saturna

This is only about the hotel itself, not the sauna world. The thermals are great, and the staff are friendly, but I won’t spend money on another hotel stay here. The design is poor, the bathroom is uncomfortable, and it’s noisy enough that you can hear people talking in the next room. Breakfast was terrible, with little choice and poor quality. The hotel doesn’t even reach three stars.

The outdoor green spaces are lovely, and the employees are kind. The restaurant offers a nice balance of quality and price. I had such a relaxing time at this amazing hotel and termy. Beautifully designed and well cared for. One of my favourite places ever, 10/10.

The sauna area was superb, five stars from me. The people there are highly professional, and you can see it’s their passion. The hotel was one star. I called to reserve a room and was given the wrong one. There was an Oriental Night party that went on late, then housekeeping started cleaning rooms around 7 on Saturday morning. When I asked them to be quieter, they said, “We are cleaning.” It felt rude. Cleaning a room means using your hands, not talking and laughing with your colleague. I came for a rest and left more tired than when I arrived. Thanks for four hours of sleep.

I was told this is a spa with a hotel on the side, and that’s true. The hotel is nice enough if you like dim colored lighting. I found the whole experience underwhelming, and the spa wasn’t to my taste.
