Hotel Medical Wellness & SPA Werona

We were disappointed that the bowling lanes didn't have guards for the kids, which limited how much they could enjoy it. Room service also fell short: we got fresh towels, but our beds weren't made during our stay. On the plus side, the restaurant food was consistently delicious, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was a lovely touch. We also enjoyed the pool and usually had it to ourselves, though it's fairly small and could get crowded at busier times. We spent four nights at Werona Spa in Duszniki-Zdrój. It was a comfortable, relaxing stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The rooms were basic but comfortable. Our hair dryer was broken, and when we left a note asking for the room to be cleaned, all they did was leave fresh sauna towels. The saunas could use some repairs, as the holders for the steam sauna's water sprays were falling off. The clocks in the pool room and on the sauna controls were all wrong, which made it stressful not knowing the time while using those areas. We also tried to get a locker for our things, but they couldn't find the keys.

I came to town for a week and tried the spa facial because my mom had been there a few years ago and remembered everything being perfect. I wasn't disappointed at all. Martyna was wonderful and took the time to really clean my face. It didn't hurt, unlike facials I've had elsewhere where I literally cried. I can recommend this place for the spa, especially the facials.

For the price, I was amazed by how nice the hotel was. The food was incredible, and there was a hot tub, swimming pool, and two saunas. I highly recommend it. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
