They offer horse riding lessons.

My husband, child and I visited the equestrian center. After the instructor’s “lesson,” my child cried all day and couldn’t go near or interact with the other animals. The groom responded by screaming, practically growling at everyone and everything.

Horse riding was a big plus for me. I rode throughout my stay, including on the lungeing course, where they demonstrated even basic things and I could learn. The place itself is all right, but my double room was small. For a parent with a child there isn’t much privacy: a sofa bed and single bed are separated only by a wardrobe. The bathroom is small too, though fine if you don’t need much room. That plastic shelf above the sink worried me so much I was afraid to put my toothbrush on it. One drawback was the number of German guests. Once, their children were screaming like crazy in the playroom. Parking also seemed to confuse a lot of people. Your space matches your room number, so when a woman was parked in my spot, I blocked her in.

It’s quiet and peaceful, a good fit for families with kids, and I’d happily recommend it. The rooms are tidy and include a hallway, kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area, plus two bedrooms, one for two people and one for three. You can go horse riding or take lessons.
