Staff were always friendly, helpful, and dedicated, and deserve real credit. Even so, after many years as regular guests, we won’t be coming back. Prices have risen steadily and substantially over the years, sometimes tripling at certain times, while the accommodation quality has noticeably fallen. Wear and tear after years of heavy occupancy is understandable, but the existing problems need consistent attention, and in our view that hasn’t happened. We paid €1,200 for New Year's Eve this year, and when we asked about vacant houses, some were priced as high as €1,700. That feels outrageous, especially when guests have to provide all their own meals. Bringing a dog costs extra too. The value for money no longer works for us. Basic supplies are very limited, so future guests should know what to expect. You get two rolls of toilet paper, but no soap, and need to buy everything else locally. Wi-Fi is advertised, but in all our years here we never once had a decent, stable connection. The TV works only when it isn’t too windy, and in stronger winds the signal disappears completely. In the off-season, virtually no shops or restaurants are open in the village. Heating is essential, but the heater alone isn’t enough, so you have to buy your own firewood.

The location by the dog beach is fantastic, and we got a very friendly welcome. It was cozy and clean, though the stairs going up are unfortunately very steep.

A great spot for an active break with a small pet. The cottages are comfortable and well equipped, and they’re surrounded by pine trees in a great location, just 50 meters from the beach.

The location is great, the cottages are clean and at a fairly good standard, and parking is available for an extra fee. Leśny Bar nearby is a plus too. But other details take away from the idyllic feel. At this standard and price, one toilet roll for four people for a week seems unreasonable, even if buying more is cheap. There’s no soap, shower gel, or shampoo, and daily towels aren’t included. They were offered for 80 PLN, which makes you wonder if that’s necessary. The electricity bill is three times higher than Enea rates, despite every rooftop being covered with solar panels. The waste containers are usually overflowing.

We stayed at the Pelikan Resort with our dog and had a fabulous time. The houses were clean and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed, and we even had a sea view. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! 😁
