The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was tasty, with a small but decent buffet. There were hot dishes, scrambled eggs and hot dogs or sausages, so something for everyone. Our room was tiny, though it had a large bathroom. It was clean, and the modern bathrooms inside contrasted with the old-looking exterior. The room had no refrigerator, just two sockets: one used by a lamp and one awkwardly behind the bed, so charging phones or using a kettle was difficult. The outlets only worked after clicking a switch like a light switch. The Plus signal had no internet, and the Wi-Fi reached only 1.5 Mbps. The way down is quite steep, but our station wagon had no trouble with the chassis.

The cottage is well located near the thermal baths, shops, and restaurants, and you can see the baths from it. The rooms have modern finishes, but the whole room had just one socket, mostly needed for the kettle. All the lights were controlled by the switch at the door, and I missed having a bedside lamp, table, and socket. Breakfast was quite poor compared with other villas of this type and didn’t really match the photos on the villa’s profile. The walls and doors let through every footstep on the stairs, which made it hard to fall asleep. Staff spoke broken Polish, mostly Ukrainian, but we could still communicate. The access road was another problem: in heavy snow, leaving was practically impossible, and we had to call a tractor. The cottage might suit you if you have a 4x4 SUV with chains, don’t eat much at breakfast, and sleep heavily.

Booking online was easy and quick: book, pay, then get a PIN code a few hours before the stay. Breakfast is worth paying for. It’s just what you need for a proper, filling breakfast. The place is right by the main road, but watch out for the entrance, which has a 40% slope. Getting out can be tricky sometimes. The thermal baths are close enough to walk to. I recommend it.
