The water barely trickled, whether I tried hot or cold. The shower tray bounced, the ill-fitting doors left a gap and flooded the floor, and the expanding MDF frame made the door squeak and force itself back open. The basin was cracked, the bed had a thick toddler mattress protector, and the bedside cabinets were the sort my house-clearance mate would throw away. Walls were so thin I could hear other guests' calls, alarms, and toilet activities whether I wanted to or not. Every few hours, you could also count about 30 carriages going past. When I rang to check my booking at 9:30 in the morning, that was apparently too early because they were still in bed, and I was asked to call back after 11. I won't return or recommend it.
The interior was simple and good, but our room was on the wrong side, by the train station. We kept waking up to noises from there, while the rest of the family on the other side slept peacefully. I guess you have to be lucky with which side you get.
For one night it was okay, though I’d think twice before staying longer. The room felt neglected: the shower stall wouldn't close properly, the kettle was broken, and the furniture was damaged. Early in the morning, cleaning staff played loud music in the hallway, which made it hard to rest. The trains didn't bother us. The location has both advantages and drawbacks, and while the air conditioning was a plus, there was no remote control for it.
I've been staying here for five years, and I'm sad to see the rooms and bathrooms getting worse. The website photos are from that earlier period. Now the walls are dirty and unrefreshed, with visible stains of unknown origin; there are signs of mold in the toilets, some leak, and some seats are cracked. The rooms are in terrible shape, the mattresses are appalling, and the thin walls mean you can hear what's happening next door. At 180 PLN per room, the price is far too high for this standard. I recently had to find a room at the very last minute and could easily have stayed somewhere else for that amount. I don't recommend it. Avoid it completely.
Booking was easy, the room and sheets were clean, and the receptionist was kind. When I wanted to stay longer, she even managed to find me a room. It's close to the train station and works well for city visitors trying to save on accommodation. The earlier comments make it sound worse than it is. Don't expect a five-star hotel apartment, or complete silence beside a train station. I didn't have a noise problem in my room, though there was perhaps a little train noise, and for the price it was worth it. Best regards ;)
