We ate Penne with chicken and pizza, and both were tasty, made with fresh ingredients, and served in huge portions. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The dessert menu looked tempting, but we were too full to order any. It's right in the heart of Old Town, which is pedestrian only, so there's no parking. I highly recommend it!
The food was amazing, and the service was just as good. The gentleman outside who recommended the place was extremely professional, as was the rest of the service. We had a wonderful meal tonight, and I'd highly recommend it.
Stay away. An amiable employee outside persuaded us to come in, but for the roughly 15 minutes we were there, nobody paid us any attention or asked if we wanted drinks. I heard several customers ask waiters if they could order food, and the replies were rude. We didn't want the same treatment, so my wife and I left without ordering anything. The employee who brought us in seemed used to people leaving like that. He didn't appear bothered or concerned when we walked out.
The food was terrible, seemed to be made with cheap ingredients, and tasted uncooked and rotten. Part of our order never arrived either. We waited 45 minutes for drinks and over an hour for food. The waiters were obnoxious and uninterested in customers, more focused on drinking, chatting, and making plans with friends. To get anything, we had to search around the restaurant for our waiter. The service was tragic. This feels like a tourist trap. If you want good food and service, stay away.
A little hidden gem in Gdansk. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine.
