After an eight-hour boring drive, we had to call the host and wait an hour for a reply while standing in the sun. Then they mixed up the room numbers and the problems kept piling up. The shower was broken, the furniture was a bit damaged, and things didn't look like the photoshopped pictures. The registration manager tried to make me pay again for a room I'd already paid for by card in advance. Parking cost more than described, and no one told me. I was offered a spot five blocks away instead. To top it off, the internet was offline and the host ignored my calls. Worst experience I've ever had with Booking.com. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location was great, but I wish I'd researched it before booking. The service was rude, and sleeping was hard: the beds were old and filthy, and there were no proper curtains to keep the sun out.

The location was great for central Gdansk, but the room was noisy and the beds were uncomfortable.

I found bed bugs in my bed. I couldn't get a good night's sleep there.
