The location made getting around easy, and the staff were helpful. For the price, I really can’t complain: the kettle, stovetop, microwave, and sink all worked, and there was what we needed for a few days. I’m pretty sure I spotted a silverfish in the bathroom, though it’s harmless. I’d book again if I come back to Gdansk.

We liked waking up to a view of St Mary Basilica and hearing the bells chime each hour. The room was clean and nicely equipped, though the beds felt too soft and didn’t give us much back support. Check-in was easy to follow from the instructions sent by SMS, and the staff were efficient and professional. Baltic Gdansk is right in the old town, next to St Mary's basilical, and it’s about a 17-18 minute walk to Gdansk Główny train station. We were happy with our stay at Baltic Gdansk Old Town Aparthotel and would stay again on our next trip to Gdansk.

Charging guests 20 zloti for every bag just to store their luggage feels like a total rip-off. Check-in is at 3 pm, while checkout is 10:30, much earlier than European standards. It makes no sense.

The apartment was roomy, in a good spot, and had a kitchen that worked well. The price was absolutely acceptable. It was a little worn, though, and some doors in the apartment would have been appreciated. There were only two usable double beds, and the sofa beds weren’t comfortable to lie on. We also heard quite a bit of noise from the hallway. Charging for each piece of luggage in storage seems unnecessary.
