We ate several times at the big food court a couple hundred meters away, and there's also a convenience store in the building around the corner. The accommodation was modern, very nice, and close to everything Gdansk has to offer.

The supposedly renovated apartment is tiny, with peeling cabinets and dust inside and on top of them. Allergy sufferers might appreciate all that dust. The balcony is worse, with a table and chairs covered in dirt. The bathroom washing machine was blocked by a clogged filter, and the clothes dryer was broken. They apparently sell capsules for a coffee machine at reception, but there was a drip coffee maker instead. The room is meant to be modern, yet old books were piled on tiny bedside tables, gathering dust and mold and taking up space. Renovation work in the neighboring apartment started in the morning, and the elevators were blocked too. Parking costs 70 PLN a night, though fortunately we found free parking nearby.

The location is a real plus, and the apartment is new, quiet inside, and has useful things like a washing machine and iron. But the cleaning was a problem. We had to clean when we arrived before I could feel comfortable, though thankfully there was a good vacuum cleaner and a mop. The bedroom cushions and blankets smelled odd, as if they had never been washed. For almost six days, the two adults and our four-year-old were given just two large towels and two small ones, which wasn't enough for me. The bathroom drain barely worked, so water spilled out, and there was no floor towel to mop it up. The hairdryer barely worked and couldn't dry my hair. There was a coffee machine but not a single capsule, so it was just decoration. Good value for money overall, but the cleaning service needs attention.

The apartment itself looked modern and had everything the listing described, but the noise made it impossible to relax. Club music came through even the thick windows, and opening one was out of the question. We could see a DJ on the roof of a nearby party venue playing house music nonstop, day and night, for two days. At 7:20 in the morning, after a whole night of it, we decided to leave early because it was unbearable. It may not be the owner's fault, but guests should know this can happen.
