Deo Plaza by Downtown Apartments

The apartment had a strong artificial perfume smell from the moment we arrived. I have a perfume allergy and told the host, but nothing was done. They seemed indifferent at first and sent us to another number. I called several times but never got a reply. The bedding and towels were so heavily scented that we slept elsewhere for the first couple of nights. After finally spending one night in the apartment, I woke with red, itchy rashes on my legs, which seemed clearly linked to the perfume in the textiles. This fell well short of what we'd been promised. I was very disappointed, and anyone with allergies or sensitivities should avoid this place.

Such a lovely place, with great service and a beautiful location. We had the best stay and will definitely come back :) 🤩

We felt right at home, with all the comforts we needed. The apartment was perfect, in a fantastic spot in the heart of the old town, looking out over the canal.

The balcony view is stunning, and the sun reaches the terrace from midday until sunset. That's a big reason I'd love to return. Granary Island has plenty of restaurants, bars, and clubs, and the Forum shopping center is a 17-minute walk through the lovely Długi Targ (Long Market), another Gdańsk attraction. Our apartment, 406, sleeps six, but there were only four stools for the table and terrace, so it wasn't fully equipped for that many people. The bathroom also had no towel rails, and there were no extra mirrors in the rooms.
