If quiet is what you're after, these apartments by the forest are a great fit. My husband and I stayed there this year, and the owners were so kind. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away through a beautiful pine forest that smells wonderful. I highly recommend it.

This review is only about the largest unit, apartment no. 3, and doesn't cover the whole complex or apartments 1 and 2. The location by the forest is peaceful but still close to the sea, about 10 minutes for adults and twice that with children. The place has parking, a fenced area, and things for children. Inside, it's comfortable and well equipped, with two bedrooms, a handy kitchenette, a pleasant terrace, and very fast Wi-Fi. The serious problem is mold on the walls in every room. It seems someone tried to clean the visible spots, but mold is still mold, and I wouldn't look behind the furniture. I couldn't add a photo to this Google review for some reason. After being out all day, we had to air out the cottage. I can't imagine the owner doesn't know about this, yet still rents these rooms to vacationers at this standard. The mold alone would make my room rating one star, if I could rate just that issue. I didn't see the same problem in the smaller apartments, no. 1 and 2. Without the mold, I'd recommend this place and it deserves 5 stars. Maybe the Google reviews will prompt the owner to improve apartment no. 3.

It's pet-friendly for an extra fee, the owners are friendly, and the location is handy, close to the beach and set back from the road. But for the fairly high price, the place felt a bit like an allotment garden. The apartment itself could use work: cracked walls, a rusty fridge, torn sheets, and cracked mugs. Sound carries through the house, even from the next room. The shared terrace also offers little privacy when it's full. With your own family and nine other people, it gets crowded.

We stayed for two weeks at Apartamenty pod Lasem (Apartments under the Forest), just two of us with our dog in a one-room apartment. It was quiet and peaceful, with the cottage by the forest and the beach about a 10-minute walk away, a perfect place to unwind. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchenette was decent and well stocked, and the bathroom was spacious with good ventilation. The owners were kind and helpful. We highly recommend it!
