Fine.

For a low price, you get clean rooms, fresh bedding provided at check-in, and professional, understanding service. We only arrived later than expected once, and a quick call to let them know was enough. Great! The only minuscule ...

We stayed here in August for the first time, just the four of us, and I'm sure we'll return. Everything was clean and tidy, including the bathrooms. Public transport is close by, so getting to the city centre or train station is easy. I definitely recommend it.

The location was a highlight during our four nights at SSSM on Kartuska Street. We stayed in two different rooms, and would give the stay a 4+. The tram and bus terminus is close, making it easy to reach other parts of Gdańsk, including the seaside districts, and Lidl is nearby too. The place is about what you'd expect from a hostel. The dining room is well equipped for making and eating a meal with other guests. One odd detail: if you need a knife, you have to borrow one from reception. Internet is supposed to be available in every room, but our one in the "turret," which felt like stepping into a movie's chamber of secrets, had none. Reception staff were mostly neutral, though one woman was notably friendly. Apart from her, staff didn't seem very willing to explain where things like the bathroom, toilet, or dining room were. It's definitely not the worst hostel we've stayed in 😃.
