Grand Apartments - Tartaczna Deluxe

The apartment is nice and the location is great, but the way I was treated outweighed those positives. On the second day, the receptionist yelled at me for leaving my keys at the front desk because I was afraid of losing them. She also made fun of me for using the cleaning service. I felt humiliated.

Booking and communicating with the owner were hassle-free. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Motława River and Długi Targ, as well as the Main Train Station. From there, you can explore Gdańsk's Old Town or travel to Sopot or Gdynia. I recommend it.

The location is great, but the rest was a disaster. The room looked hastily cleaned, with dust everywhere. The toilet was dirty underneath, the dishes in the cupboard were wet, and the sheets and sofa had stains. The toilet door lock was broken, and the floor was sticky. Worst of all, the towels smelled musty from a distance, and there was someone's hair on the dish sponge 🤢🤮

The apartments are quite nice and in a very good location, with decent standards, cleanliness, and price. But they still need work. The shower drain smelled, sometimes unbearably. The shower door was poorly designed: it opened toward the toilet next door and could only open a few dozen centimeters. Supplies seemed to have been skimped on too. There was only leftover toilet paper in the toilet, no dishwasher tabs despite having a dishwasher, leftover paper towels in the kitchen, and just diluted residue in the dish soap container. Are tourists meant to buy a whole pack of tabs, hunt for singles, or carry them along? The whole thing felt like a terrible waste of money and needs improvement.
