The beach is just nearby, and getting around by public transport is easy. The staff are really friendly, the kitchenette has what you need, and it’s a nice spot to unwind. I’ll keep the rest to myself, since I’d like to find a place here again next time.

For 160 PLN a night, I got a room with no window, paper-thin walls, and a stuffy feel. The attic seemed poorly adapted for people to live in, above a tin-and-metal commercial space. There were only two shared bathrooms for five rooms. The owner was pleasant until I asked for my money back, and I still haven’t received it. The advert gave no hint this would be such a bad “hostel.” I don’t know who checks the reviews, but this feels like a textbook trap.

We really liked the hostess, who clearly takes good care of the hostel and its guests. It’s also a very quiet place, even though there’s a tram line nearby. From the street, you wouldn’t guess the building is a small hotel, but that’s what it is. The rooms have new furniture, TVs and free Wi-Fi, plus small, clean bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped, and towels are included in the room rate if you forget one. There’s an iron and ironing board too. The park and the lovely beach in Brzeźno are only a few dozen meters away. If you don’t feel like cooking, plenty of bars and restaurants are close by. We had some great fish at the Chef's on the pier. We also ate pizza, breakfast and lunch at a pizzeria a little farther away on Legonów Street, which I think was called “U Leona.” The portions were too big to finish, and the service was great. We’d happily recommend the place.
