The staff were polite and did what they could to help, but unfortunately there wasn’t much they could do. The breakfast was average, nothing special. The hotel isn’t worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s no bathroom heating, so the towels stay wet. The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and asking for the password again. My room faced the railway, making it very hard to sleep. I paid for parking, but was told at the end to leave the car on the grass instead of in a parking space, where I had to watch out for the ventilation machinery so I wouldn’t damage the car.

The bathroom sink was clogged and practically on top of the toilet. There’s no elevator, so keep that in mind if you have luggage, and there’s no fridge in the room, though a grocery store is nearby. The sheets were too small for the mattress and had holes. When I complained, I was told nothing could be done until maybe the next day when the maids returned. The mattress didn’t look safe to sleep on without a sheet. You have to request cleaning or fresh towels, then wait 12 hours for the maids to come back. The reports of train and garbage collection noise are right, which is fine if you’re up at 5:30 am.

The rooms were big and clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had a very good, wide selection. The railway runs behind the hotel, so it’s worth paying a little extra for a room on the quieter side.

The hotel and staff are nice, but the nearby train line could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. You’re lucky if your room’s windows don’t face that way.
