Mile Gdansk Airport

The rooms are clean, the hotel has been renovated recently, and the no-contact setup is an interesting idea. It’s well placed for arriving late, sleeping, showering and heading out, and for the price I don’t think you’ll find better. I’d tidy up the garden, especially by the entrance, as well as the rubbish area and the sides of the building. Those are basic upkeep jobs and may get done once the remodeling is finished. We’re in the hotel business too, so we know these things can be fixed without spending a fortune. All the best to the owners. It’s a very nice concept.

The only thing that made me cautious was walking alone outside at night, which could feel a little unsafe. Otherwise, the hotel is in a quiet area near the airport, and I found the self-service check-in and check-out very convenient. The rooms are clean and stylish, with a simple, creative design I really liked. There's also a canteen on site where you can heat up food.

Breakfast was great, and check-in took almost no time. The airport terminal is only a few minutes away on foot, and the room was clean and a reasonable size for the price. We stayed two nights, but the room wasn't serviced: the bath linens stayed the same and the coffee sachets weren't replaced. We came back tired in the evening and didn't tell reception, though I'm sure they'd have sorted it if we'd asked.

The room was clean and cozy, with tea and coffee, quick internet, and several lights whose brightness you could adjust. We had a lovely view over the runway and airport, but it was quiet. The plumbing was quite loud, which might be bothersome if you only have a short time to sleep before travelling. It's a handy five-minute walk from the airport, especially for a late arrival or departure, and we liked our stay.
