Cheap and well located, good enough for a short stay. We had an attic room with a private bathroom and plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable enough. It had probably been cleaned, but didn't feel truly clean: old limescale was everywhere and the shower drain was clogged. You get what you pay for.

I stayed at Muffin hostel for over a month and would love to come back again and again. It's a really nice, cozy place in Gdansk where you can meet people from different countries and chat with them. The people staying at Muffin hostel are friendly too, and might join you for drinks or a party, or for a barbeque out back.

We had a six-bed room, but the place was filthy and noisy. Shoes, piles of rubbish, and wool were all over the place, and the toilet was swamp-like. The kitchen was surprisingly more or less okay. I’ve never seen somewhere so creepy.

In summer, this is an affordable, pleasant hostel where you can meet people from all over the world. Come winter, though, it feels like an entirely different place, almost abandoned.

The room door has a lock and there’s CCTV running 24 hours, which were the only things that made me feel safe. Drunk, noisy guests were hanging around in the kitchen.
