Midtown Hostel is small, clean, and well designed, with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The location was perfect for coming from the train station. I stayed in a cozy 6 bed dorm with sliding doors, and lockers were provided. The staff were friendly and offered recommendations and maps for things to do and places to eat in Gdańsk. Highly recommend!

The beds are a little hard, and you have to make yours yourself. Towels aren't included, but you can hire one for 5 zloty, which seems to be how it works in Polish hostels. The hostel is a great base, a seven minute walk from the train station and less than five minutes from Gdansk's main town. Supermarkets and pubs are less than a minute away. It's very clean, and the other guests were friendly and mature. This isn't a party hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and happy to chat.

I spent most of my time exploring Gdańsk, and the personal storage lockers, provided as standard, were a godsend for keeping extra baggage. The whole hostel was immaculately clean, and there were lots of useful guides to Gdańsk and the surrounding coastal areas. The shower and washroom facilities were much better than I expected. It's a very cost-friendly place near the heart of Gdańsk old town. I stayed a couple of nights and the staff treated me really well. They all spoke very good English! I'd definitely stay again if I'm ever travelling in or around northern Poland.

The bathrooms let the place down for me. There are only two for the whole hostel, so I couldn't give it 5 stars. The rooms are nice and a good size, with a locker under the bed, plus a reading light and sockets at every bed. It's a very nice hostel, though it can be hard to find among all the buildings. The location is great, close to both the city centre and main train station, with lots of local grocery stores nearby. The staff are friendly, speak good English, and suggest things to see and do.

I couldn't get a single hour of sleep because of the horrible noise from the street all night. This hostel is only for extremely heavy sleepers. It's clean and new, the staff are delightful, the prices are pretty good, and the location is amazing.
