Noli Gdansk Old Town

We slept really well thanks to the very comfortable mattresses. The apartment had everything we needed and a nicely original design, in a place with a unique atmosphere and interesting location. At first, though, our room had just one pillow, one duvet, and one towel. We found another pillow and duvet in the wardrobe and managed ourselves, but since we arrived after midnight there was nobody available to help. Apart from that, it was a very nice stay.

For a 4-star hotel, the biggest problem was having no hot water at all during our stay. We had to take cold showers every day, which is unacceptable. The bathroom ventilation didn't work either, and the room ventilation stayed at 23 degrees, so we couldn't heat the room up when it was cold outside. Housekeeping only happens after three days, leaving dirt, trash, and unchanged towels in the room for that time. We were a couple but found only one pillow, and had to find another ourselves. The room had no TV, which isn't a deal breaker for us, but seems like a basic expectation at this rating. The power sockets were badly placed on the other side of the bed with no table, so the phone had to go on the floor by our feet. There was a bedside lamp but no outlet there, making it decorative only. The hotel is new, modern, and generally clean. It has useful extras such as a foosball table, self-service coffee, a pool table, library, laundry room, and kitchen. Check-in and checkout are self-service, but we never got the check-in code by email and needed staff to do it manually. With all these problems, it wasn't worth the money and I wouldn't recommend it.

The kitchen was being renovated while I was there, but they left a breakfast bag at my door every morning, which was so thoughtful. The hotel was super clean and had what I could need, including a gym, a cozy living area, and a gaming room. Loved my stay and definitely recommend it! 🥹👏🏻

The rooms are clean, tidy, and nice, but the place feels very impersonal. There's no reception and you have to handle everything yourself, so it works well for a business trip where you need to work away from home. It didn't give me the typical nice Gdansk experience, though. There was no hot water on the morning I left.
