The beach is 800 meters away, but getting there with a stroller is a bit of a struggle. The forest path goes up and down and often has deep sand. The resort's playground, with swings, a sandbox and climbing frames, is pretty good, and there's a table tennis table too. The cottages themselves are clean, the bathroom is okay, and the TV works. There's a kettle, glasses, plates, cutlery and bathroom towels, but no fridge. That was manageable since a well-stocked shop is about three minutes away and even opens Sundays. The cottage smell was hard to get rid of by airing it out, though, and the carpet was the worst part. It can't really be cleaned, and over a stay longer than two days with kids, sand and crumbs become a real nuisance. Breakfast is a buffet in the dining hall, but it feels like a school cafeteria. You can eat your fill, though the same things were served every day: scrambled eggs, sausages, hot dogs, savory cottage cheese, yellow cheese, cold cuts, tomatoes, cucumbers, pâté, bread, cereal, jam, honey, coffee, and black or fruit tea. We stayed 10 days and paid with tourist vouchers, which is the only reason we picked the place. We won't return, mainly because of the smell and the carpet, whose condition was unclear and which couldn't be cleaned during our stay. And the mosquitoes, so many mosquitoes... though that's not the resort's fault.
