Q Hotel Grand Cru Gdańsk

The staff were helpful, and both the service and location were nice. Our room was clean and spacious, but the tiny windows and broken AC left us freezing at night. We’d booked a superior room, though the bed was small and uncomfortable, and its position at the end of the hallway by the staircase made it even colder. At around 700 zł, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast was the standout for me: lots of choices, from eggs and cold meats to fruit, juices, yoghurt, soaked seeds, pickled vegetables, and teas with fresh ginger or turmeric syrup. The dishes looked lovely, and the breakfast room felt inviting, with excellent service. We really enjoyed our time in Gdansk. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, and our balcony brought in natural light. Even the fresh-smelling towels and room were a nice touch. The staff were so friendly, especially the receptionist who went above and beyond, sorry I didn’t catch your name, but you know who you are :) The hotel is an easy walk from the city centre. One small drawback is that the road outside gets quite dirty in the rain, which takes away from the nice atmosphere. Once you’re inside, though, you soon forget about it.

Good value for the price, and it was quiet. The location was amazing, close to all the sights. Breakfast was fine, though I’d expected more after reading the reviews.

We only tried the hotel restaurant on the ground floor, and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly too. Highly recommend the restaurant.
