Stay inn Hotel Gdansk

I felt safe and at ease here as a woman traveling solo, which mattered to me since hotels on my own can make me anxious. The receptionist was so welcoming and great. I arrived early to leave my luggage, but my room was already ready and they upgraded me, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious and had a bath. You can hear the church bells, but it’s bearable, and earplugs are available if you need them.

We loved the à la carte dinner menu and ate at the restaurant twice. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the included breakfast had plenty of choice, though we might have preferred a buffet to ordering from a menu. We stayed with family over Christmas, right in Gdansk’s beautiful old town, an authentic rebuild of the historic city center. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were good, and there was surprisingly little street noise.

Our first-floor room at the front looked out toward St Mary's Church, and I loved hearing the bells. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The central location is a big plus, and the adjoining restaurant serves excellent food with excellent service. On arrival, a friendly, helpful receptionist welcomed us and gave us complimentary wine, a lovely touch. I’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The sound insulation was good, which made for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean, and the room had a comfortable double bed, a kettle, tea, and drinking water. It was warm in early December, with heating we could adjust ourselves. The location is TOP!!! The room was cozy and had everything we needed.
