Stay Win Aura Gdańsk II

We booked through Expedia because we wanted a nice apartment in central Gdansk, with the sea nearby. We thought we had booked just that at Sun & Snow, but the address on Expedia turned out to be a sample address for one of their apartments. The booking confirmation showed it, yet our actual apartment was well outside the city centre and even the tourist area, so we had to take the tram to get around. We went to their reception the next day about the incorrect address and were told they were fully booked, couldn’t help, and that we should complain to Expedia. Expedia has nothing to do with them giving a false address. Their excuse was that they have so many apartments that listing them all would be too much work, so they offer them in batches. That’s exactly the rental company’s job. My guess is they do this to fill apartments in less appealing suburban locations. We’re stuck spending our vacation in this apartment, at a price we wouldn’t have paid otherwise. Don’t book with them. They obviously don’t give a sh*t about their customers.

It was a little noisy. The location is near downtown, about a seven-minute walk.

The bed was comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The people were really nice too.

Staying at Sun & Snow Aura - Gdansk was awful from the beginning to the end. It’s a long way from the centre, there’s construction all around the building, and the rooms aren’t fit for guests. I’d give it 1 out of 10 and can’t recommend it.
