The room was clean, and the building’s interior seemed pretty much brand new. I liked the minimalist decor, and the small-studio setup had a little stove, fridge, cutlery, and plates, handy for keeping costs down if you’re staying awhile and want to cook. The staff we did see were lovely. The location is right in the middle of Old Town, so we could walk everywhere. St Mary's Church is next door, the WWII Museum is a 15-minute walk, and the Boardwalk is around 10 minutes away. The bed was hard, which I can deal with, but the synthetic sheets had me waking up every hour, sweaty wherever I was touching them. In the shower, the head was broken and the water pressure was awful, though I could forgive both. Having nowhere at all to put my things, not even a tiny shelf for shampoo, was the part I couldn’t forgive.

The room looked much better in the pictures than it did in person. I didn’t expect that. Some of the equipment could be better, for instance the TV had trouble switching on. The bathroom wasn’t great either: the rain shower head barely worked, and I had to unclog it myself. The handheld shower head was dirty and moldy.

Stay away, their customer service was horrendous. I booked one night, realized right away that I’d chosen the wrong date, and contacted the property by email and phone, while also asking Booking.com to help reach them. I made seven calls and sent emails over two days. There was availability on the date I wanted, but the company didn’t reply until three days later, when that room was no longer available. I asked for a refund because I’d tried to sort it out promptly, and I was even willing to pay 60% more for the alternative date. They quickly refused. This place showed no respect for its customers.
