Villa Palladium

Even one star feels like too much. The price and quality are nowhere near each other. The rooms and towels were filthy, the floor was dirty enough to make walking in feel scary, and the bathroom had no modern comforts. The whole building smells bad and looks very old-fashioned. Breakfast and coffee were tasteless. I'd recommend hotel in tricity instead, it's much more luxurious and cheaper!

There isn't a reception desk, just a digital room code, and nobody to talk to except a mobile number. The room needs renovation, the door looks awful, and there's no soap in the shower dispenser. Stains on the floor and sofa, plus exposed wires at a wall socket that looked dangerous. The window seal doesn't keep out road noise, so it was noisy all night. It was cold in winter, though they provide an electric heater. Breakfast is served in a restaurant in another building, so you have to wear winter clothes to get there.

Avoid this place. The room wasn't clean at all, there was no hot water, and the internet didn't work. I texted the * Reception * but got no help.

The breakfast was so good I’d come back just for that. Room 6, though, is one to avoid. Water came through the ceiling whenever the guests upstairs took a bath, and the receptionist didn’t seem concerned when I mentioned it, which made me think this wasn’t a new problem. Rooms facing the backyard are noisy too. The surrounding wall makes voices echo, so lying in bed we could hear people talking and drinking beer at night.
