I liked the bathroom’s unusual design and the fairly big terrace. You can walk to the beach or the SKM in about 15 minutes. The room itself, though, had a pretty old-fashioned design.

Redłowo is a beautiful villa district, among hills and close to the sea and the scenic Kępa Redłowska reserve. It’s also well connected to Gdynia center and the rest of the Tricity. The staff were nice, and the rooms were very pretty, with nice furniture and 50-inch TVs, though some felt small for the price. I liked the bathrooms’ original sinks and impressive showers. The breakfasts felt very cut back for 250 zł a night: cheap cold cuts, cheap Remsey tea, just one fruit choice, and instant coffee. At many places, you can get coffee from a machine for that price. I’ve had better quality and more generous breakfasts at places costing 130-140 zł, not 250.
The rooms are a little hotel-like, but they have everything you need. It’s a peaceful, quiet place, with very friendly staff who are easy to reach and happy to help. There’s a bus stop nearby, and the SKM station is a bit farther off, making it easy to get from quiet Redłowo to lively central Gdynia. I recommend it.
Breakfast wasn’t included for us on the first day because it hadn’t been booked by 3 p.m.!!! The next day, though, it was pretty good and varied. The place was quite run-down, with a dark, gloomy interior. The bathrooms were newly renovated and small, but overloaded with decorative details. The rooms and stairwell felt like the early Gierek era, with no taste. Very average overall.
The stay itself was faultless: reasonable prices, large clean rooms just like the photos, a good location, and friendly service. I recommend it. We were surprised by how few small shops were nearby. The closest was probably by the hospital gate, a few hundred meters toward the sea, so on Saturday afternoon we had to drive to the mall. Only on the way back did we spot a few shops along the main road. That’s why I’m taking off a star.
