Loft by Kairos Apartments

We had a miserable experience renting an apartment at Lothus by Kairos. It was unbearably hot, like a sauna, and the staff came across as arrogant. The owner insulted us and tried to intimidate us. A woman also threatened us over the phone after we said we'd leave a bad review about what happened. The positive reviews posted on the same day seem to us to have come from staff. We're ashamed of how this was handled and won't contact these people again.

I only stayed three days at Lothus, but the heat made me leave early. The apartment is in a high-rise that gets sun from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.; without air conditioning, it felt like a sauna. At 3 p.m. the temperature inside was recorded at 41°C, and it was unbearable for me. I wrote a review about that, then the woman managing the property called to complain and said she disagreed. She wasn't there in the apartment, I was, and I left because I couldn't stand it. She has just texted me saying, "It's a shame you won't read it because it will say you're a scammer for your stay. It's an old phone number for people who try to use bad reviews to get money to remove bad comments, which unfortunately we didn't offer you." For clarity, I never asked her for money, a refund, or anything else. On the phone I was threatened and told I'd be in trouble if I posted a negative review. She was very vulgar, and I felt blackmailed as well as threatened. The good Google reviews were all added yesterday, about 9-10 hours earlier, which seems suspicious to me and makes me think they may be from company employees. Avoid this place. In my experience, insults and threats from the owner seem to be a regular way of treating people. 😊

The interiors are beautiful and the furnishings feel really modern. I think this apartment works just as well for a business trip as for a weekend in Silesia. I recommend it if you're visiting Gliwice.

The friendly contact and the well-organized arrangements made everything easy. We were looking for somewhere comfortable, and this place had a garage, plus a clean, well-kept apartment with all the equipment we needed. Definitely worth recommending.
