ibis Styles Gniezno Stare Miasto

Klaudia, the blonde bartender, looked after us during our stay at Ibis and gave us great ideas for things to do in gniezno and elsewhere in Poland. She really knows her bartending too. I’d come back just to relax and spend time at the bar.

We came back for a second stay and everything was great again. The hotel is very welcoming to dogs, with a bowl at reception, and you can bring your dog along to breakfast. There’s paid parking behind the hotel, or a free lot beside it. I also liked the filtered water stations and the jug in the room, which help cut down on plastic bottles.

A handy spot for a quick stop in Gniezno, with the town centre within walking distance. There’s a large free parking lot next to the hotel. The rooms are roomy and the beds comfortable, and the bar by reception has a great range of local craft beers.

The train station is just a two-minute walk away, and the central square, restaurants, and markets are close too. Our room was super clean, and the hotel has a modern look. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant food was surprisingly good. The service was excellent, especially Mateo and Magdalena, who made us feel like part of their family. A great place to stay in Gniezno.
