Hotel Huzar

This used to be a hotel. Now it's a place for Ukrainians to stay.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was generous and tasty. We paid 220 PLN including breakfast, which is a very attractive rate and hard to find for a family with two children. The location was great, close to the S-Room, and the rooms have air conditioning, though they could use renovation. I recommend it. To the owner, I'd suggest raising the price if the rooms are renovated and the rooms and bathrooms are aired out more often. Replacing the room doors is essential, since you can hear everything from the hallway.

The bed was clean, with a soft mattress and a flat pillow, and breakfast was really delicious. The hotel itself is pretty good, but I hadn't seen any mention of paid parking in the description or reviews. Also, the bathroom shower door was so large that I couldn't fit through it, and I'm not a small person.

The staff were nice and helpful, and the bathroom was neat and clean. Breakfast was okay, served on plates. The air conditioning in the room was a plus, even though it had no remote. It's an average place for travelers without particular expectations. If you want to relax after a trip, you won't get much rest here. You hear everything: toilets flushing, footsteps, doors, conversations, and now even the Ukrainians. Most of them can't keep quiet, and we could hear a child yelling downstairs. It feels more like a workers' hotel. The rooms are small, with old-fashioned beds that look atmospheric but are terribly uncomfortable and barely holding together. The whole place needs a major renovation.
