Cztery Pliszki

A lovely, relaxing spot, with plenty to do even when you come with kids.

We’d stayed here several times over the years, but this visit was a huge letdown. On arrival, the room was filthy: bugs were crawling on the walls, cobwebs were in the corners and on the ceiling, the glasses hadn’t been washed, toilet paper was scattered on the floor, and the toilet seat was broken. We had arranged with the owner to get a room with a bathtub. Instead, we were given a different room, one adapted for disabled guests with a shower, and there was no way to switch to the promised room. Reaching the owner was difficult; it took four calls and a text before we got an answer. We were told the bugs “can enter from the outside,” but that shouldn’t be happening in a room ready for guests. Even after we reported the problems, nobody offered a solution. We had to find somewhere else ourselves because staying there overnight was impossible. The owner also refused to return the full amount. We got the room charge back, but the security deposit was kept without any basis. It was a very unpleasant experience, and the owner’s approach felt unprofessional and unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting cleanliness, honesty, and reliable treatment.

My stay was a major disappointment. The room was in a mess, and the cleaning clearly hadn’t been thorough. Getting the information or help we needed was also difficult, and the owner’s communication felt unprofessional. I can’t recommend this hotel, even for a short visit.

We came as a family for a vacation we’d been looking forward to for ages. What stuck with us was the insects flying around and crawling on the walls, bedbugs under the furniture, and a mole in the cupboard. Quite the tourist-resort experience!
