The rooms are basic, and the place is a little dated and worn, with an 80s, Back to the Future feel. Still, we love it: good value for money and good food at breakfast. This was our second year, and it won’t be our last. Thanks to the hardest-working lady in the industry, she deserves a raise.

We got locked out at night because the disabled entrance was locked and the staff didn’t have a key, since the owner takes it along. That was a bit weird. The rooms are decent, but the mosquitoes are insane. Breakfast was bare.

The inn is very close to the city center and bus stops, which made getting to Białowieża easy. I spent a weekend here with my mom. It’s a small, intimate hotel with breakfast only, so we went to the restaurant for delicious regional food. Breakfast was simple, with no hot food besides coffee and tea, but the staff will make scrambled eggs or sausages if you want something warm. Everyone was friendly and keen to help. The rooms matched the photos, and we had no complaints as we’re not picky eaters. There’s a wide range of TV channels for dull evenings. I recommend it!

The location is great and the grounds are very nice. The service was friendly, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the TV had a decent choice of channels. There’s potential here for both business and leisure stays, but the interior needs attention, and the property has clearly seen better days. The bathroom fixtures need descaling and the shower handle tightening. Dead mosquitoes were still on the walls. Breakfast was very poor: instant coffee in a dirty container, no fruit, and the supposedly warm sausages and scrambled eggs were cold and had no sides. In short, a lot of potential left unrealized.

It has a 1990s sort of look, and the rooms weren’t very clean, with cobwebs around. There are towels and a TV. Breakfast was very good and made with fresh produce, though I don’t know why it’s served so early, around 7:15 to 8:30, I think. Plenty of parking, and you can have a fire or grill for an extra fee. Fine for a day or two, but no longer.
