The way Dom Zdrojowy Hotel treated us was a real shock. Its staff were unfriendly, and we felt like unwanted intruders, even though the building and some services are shared. The hotel and the privately owned rooms are both presented as Spa Houses, but their standards differ and that isn't made clear to customers. I stayed in Apartment 345, which had no air conditioning, pool, fitness center, bicycles, or hotel reception, though hotel guests had access to those things. The furnishings also fell well short of the luxury the owner advertised. For two people, we paid more than a hotel room would have cost, with breakfast charged at PLN 60 per person and each room cleaning at PLN 50. The owners of Apartment 345 and the hotel are at odds, and guests are made aware of it. In a bizarre incident, the cleaners we had booked for a fee removed some furnishings without telling us, saying they belonged to the hotel and we should sort it out with the owner :-O. The discourtesy and lack of class from Dom Zdrojowy Hotel were shocking. Pay close attention to which accommodation you book, because the hotel and apartments vary a lot in quality. I'd also think twice about spending a holiday at a hotel with such poor customer service.

That big terrace is great for soaking up the sun or sitting out on long summer evenings. It's a lovely spot for a summer break with a small group of friends.
