We spent a few days here last August. There was a fridge and a small balcony with two chairs, but the place feels like it hasn’t been renovated in ages. The bathroom was archaic, TV reception was troublesome, and the spiders came free of charge. For what they offer, the price feels pretty average.

We were only passing through for one night. The owner was kind and helpful, and the place felt secluded despite being close to the main road. With the window shut, traffic noise wasn’t a problem. The center is a bit of a walk, though there’s a path for pedestrians and cyclists; we drove instead. The room decor didn’t bother me, even if it looked over 40 years old, because cleanliness matters more. But the odd smell in the room and bedding did bother me. I slept in a sleeping bag with the window open. Parking is either on the property or across from the house.

The room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a quiet neighborhood, with a nearby beach access through Fox Ravine. There’s parking, a playground, and a grill, too. The owner is lovely, helpful, and easy to deal with. I highly recommend her.

It was clean, and there’s parking, but we weren’t really impressed. The kitchenette has a pot and a fork, basically enough, though there’s no sink there. Trying to wash plates or pots in the tiny sink in the room after breakfast was really awkward. The glass door to the room felt a bit strange too. Still, it might suit someone.
