Hotel Floryda

Getting to the beach takes just five minutes on foot, with good restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is also close to the train station, which is handy if you're arriving by rail. It was our first visit to Jurata and the Floryda Hotel, and my family and I would happily recommend it. Our room was cozy, clean and well kept, and breakfast was delicious. The woman who welcomed us was warm and helpful, and the other staff were friendly without getting in the visitors' way. The price felt very fair for the quality.

At 600 a night, this was a complete disaster with nothing to show for the price. The owners don't seem serious, they treat guests like friends, and nothing works, including the elevator. I can't recommend it.

There was absolutely no service. For all nine days, nobody cleaned the room or changed the towels or sheets. The hotel feels like a relic from the communist era, the walls shake when someone walks along the corridor, and nearby bums partying to Eastern hits in the parking lot added to the experience. The first place we booked, and it wasn't a room, was a basement room for three people at the back of the building, shaded by a tree and behind a fence by the train station. The beds and all the other furniture looked like they'd been pulled from a dumpster. It cost just 380 PLN a night. After a very short negotiation, the whole staff knew how bad the room was, and we were moved to a "suite" for 550 PLN a night. I recommend this place to anyone who's desperate.

A decent, simple hotel for guests who don't expect much, and reasonably well maintained. The rooms are clean and plainly furnished, with a fridge, kettle, wardrobe with hangers and shelves, bedside tables, and a TV with a USB port. Breakfast was a plus, really good and varied. There weren't many people during my stay in the penultimate week of the summer holidays, so I never had an issue with the buffet running low. The location is the best part. It's close to the center and attractions, with the train station only 20 meters away, handy for catching a Regional Railways train without stress and at low cost. The sound of the station didn't bother me, but the room door was poorly soundproofed, so I could hear everything in the hallway and the room. You can walk along the road and promenade to the beach, 600 meters away, or cross the tracks in a prohibited area to get there in about 300 meters. The elevator is a surprise, it goes to the mezzanines, so you still have to haul your suitcases up the stairs. The price felt a bit high for the standard, and parking adds another 20-30 PLN per night.
