B&B Hotel Kalisz

Breakfast was lovely, and the staff there were friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and right in the heart of Kalisz, which worked really well for us. My room was very clean and spacious, with a large bathroom and a great shower. Great value, too.

The location is right in the center, which is ideal for exploring the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable despite the small size, and I liked having a smart TV and a kettle with tea. Breakfast had variety, but it was the same each day and got boring after two nights, so I think this suits shorter stays best. The soundproofing was bad. On Friday I woke at 4 a.m. to people upstairs, and they were still talking loudly at 6, keeping me awake. There’s no fridge, safe, or minibar, and the open wardrobe has very few shelves, so there isn’t much storage for a longer stay. Getting into the room means entering a six-digit code, which is a hassle when you’re in a hurry or with older people. The doors are heavy and slam loudly. We could feel the wall shake in bed when the next room’s door closed.

The location near the city center is a real plus. Rooms are simple, modern, and functional, and they were very clean.

The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable, with professional staff. It’s not too far from the town center, and the surroundings are quiet, with parks in front and behind. Traffic is balanced, and there’s private parking, though spaces are limited, so you need to reserve.
